Who I work with

People seek therapy with me for many different reasons, including:

    • Anxiety and depression
    • Bereavement and loss
    • Trauma
    • Low self-esteem
    • Emotional eating
    • Relationship difficulties
    • Feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure of the next step
    • The emotional strain of caring for or supporting someone with eating issues.

Whatever your experience, you’ll find a space here where you can talk freely and explore without judgement.

You Deserve to Feel Great. I’m Here to Help.

A calm, compassionate space to explore whatever you’re going through

I’m an experienced, qualified counsellor based in Central London and online. I offer humanistic, Gestalt-informed therapy for people facing a wide range of challenges from anxiety and depression to bereavement, trauma, emotional eating, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.

People often come to me when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or simply too heavy to carry alone.

My role is to offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, feel supported, and begin to understand yourself more deeply.

You don’t need to arrive with clear answers.

You just need to arrive as you are.

My Background

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

As a fully qualified Counsellor in Humanistic Therapy, I trained at the Gestalt Centre in London. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My Approach to Therapy

I work from a humanistic, Gestalt perspective, which means therapy is centred around you; your experience, your pace, and your personal way of making sense of the world.

My approach is:

Relational

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the work. I aim to build a warm, trusting connection where you feel seen, accepted and understood.

Gentle and exploratory

We slow down and pay attention to what’s happening in the present moment — your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations and patterns.

Flexible

Some clients come for short-term work around a specific issue. Others prefer a longer, deeper journey. I’ll support whichever feels right for you.

Empowering

I won’t tell you what to do or offer quick fixes. Instead, I’ll help you develop the awareness and self-understanding that leads to genuine, lasting change.

Why I do this work

People often arrive in therapy feeling like they should “just cope” or have everything figured out.

But being human is complicated.

When life becomes overwhelming, it’s completely natural to need support.

I became a counsellor because I believe in the power of being truly listened to; the power of slowing down, reflecting, and gently uncovering what’s really going on beneath the surface.

There’s nothing more meaningful than seeing someone move from confusion to clarity, from fear to steadiness, from feeling alone to feeling understood.

A particular area of interest

Over time, I’ve developed a special interest in supporting family members of people with eating issues.

This experience is often isolating, frightening, and emotionally draining, yet it’s rarely talked about.

You may be trying to stay strong for someone you love, while privately feeling terrified or exhausted yourself.

Therapy can give you space to talk openly, strengthen your coping strategies, and reconnect with your own wellbeing.

What it’s like to work with me

You’ll find my sessions calm, grounded and collaborative.

Some days you may arrive with heavy emotions. Other days you’ll leave having noticed something new about yourself. Both are part of the process.

You set the pace.

You decide what feels safe.

I’m here to walk alongside you.

If you’re ready to take the next step

Reaching out can feel daunting, but it’s often the beginning of feeling more supported and less alone.

If you’d like to explore whether we’re a good fit to work together:

You don’t have to do this on your own.

Support is here when you’re ready.
